January 2007
LaShell is named
a "Great Woman
of Style for
National women
clothing chain
Ashley Stewart!
LaShell traveled
throughout the
country this
year appearing
at several store
grand openings
and corporate
events. LaShell
toured several
cities appearing
on ABC news
affiliates in a
campaign created
by her manager
Lee Griffin
designed to
promote the
Ashley Stewart
brand. LaShell
also did a New
York photo shoot
featuring the
companies new
Spring fashions
and had her
pictures placed
in all of the
Ashley Stewart
225 stores
nationwide from
New York to L.A.
The photos of
LaShell taken in
New York have
been used for
her PR campaign
and will appear
on her upcoming
2008 CD entitled
"Dreams Are
Possible"

In March
LaShell and her
amazing story
was featured in
a National
television
TimeLife
imformercial
entitled "Second
Chances". The
imformercial was
a promotional
piece for a
inspirational
collection of
music entitled

Faith". LaShell

along with
artist Ruben
Studdard,
Christina
Aguilera,
Wyonna, Donnie
McClurklin,
Pattie LaBelle,

In May
LaShell appeared
on the world's
biggest
television
network TBN.
LaShell
performed and
was a guest
along with Muna
Heaven from the
NBC hit
"Apprentice" and
Cee Cee Michaela
from the UPN
sitcom
"Girlfriends".
In June
LaShell
performed a
intimate concert
for one of the
world's finest
childrens
charity
"Variety".
Located in over
18 different
countries
Variety is a
leader in
helping the
dreams of
thousands of
children become
a reality every
year. Last years
performer was
actress and
broadway singer
Bernadette
Peters best
known for
co-starring role
along side of
actor Steve
Martin in "The
Jerk".
In September
LaShell joined
forces with The
Heart and Lung
Association of
America to
become apart of
their "Faces of
Influenza"
campaign.
LaShell has
joined the likes

Jennifer Garner
from the hit ABC
series "Alias"
and appeared
this year with
American Olympic
"Gold Medalist"
Kristi Yamaguchi
to bring
awareness to
this disease.
In November
LaShell appeared
on the cover of
the nationally
distributed
magazine "How We
Live" along with
Presidential
hopeful Barack
Obama, actress
Victoria Rowell
from the CBS
daytime drama
"The Young and
The Restless"
and actress
Alfre Woodard
from the ABC hit
series
"Desperate House
Wives". The

In December
D.A.P Music the
record label
owed by
Lee/LaShell
Griffin
re-released
LaShell's
Christmas cd
"The Gift" in
Walmart stores
across the
country. After
partnering with
Walmart, Radio
One and The
Salvation Army
in years past to
raise well over
$40,000 for the
needy. This year
the label teamed
up with The
Ashley Stewart
Foundation
donating a
portion of each
cd sold in their
stores towards
the companies
community
outreach
intiatives.
December
LaShell meets
Mr. & Mrs.
Barack Obama
when she
appeared at The
Presidential
candidates
Columbia, SC
rally with
special guest
speaker Ms.
Oprah Winfrey.
Also in
December Lee and
LaShell
announced their
"Beauty and
Dreams
Motivational
Tour For The
Youth of
America". The
tour is designed
to build self
esteem,
confidence,
positive
attitudes,
respect, and
high expectation
among the youth
within our inner
city urban
communities. " I
have always
loved young
people and I
want to
encourage them
to make better
choices, work
hard and believe
in themselfs"
said LaShell.
The tour began
in Detroit at
LaShell's
alamater Osborn
High School with
tremendous
success and will
continue
througout the
new year. Other
cities targeted
include
Clevaland,
Chicago, DC,
Philly, Atlanta,
Raleigh, and
Houston. The
tour is
sponsered in
partnership with
D.A.P Music,
Life Outreach
Inc, The Walmart
Community
Foundation,
Ashley Stewart,
Radio One Radio,
CBS Radio, ABC
News Affiliates
and Fox News
affiliates
throughout the
country.
